What a beautiful evening at Ernie Miller Park!
The light was gorgeous and we had to work around no less than three other photographers. I guess we all saw the beauty in the fields and paths of Ernie Miller Park!
This lovely family was the winner of a giveaway that I did for Moms Together, a local moms group that I attend. It was so fun to the their photos and interact with their girls.
One of the girls is my future assistant. She was all about setting up her own poses and choosing locations. She was instantly hired. It was so fun to chat with her and just watch her do her own thing. Thank you for your hard work!
Her sister was a little less interested. She reminded me so much of my youngest. And with my own family photos coming up soon, I knew I was seeing my future. I couldn’t help but smile at her lack of enthusiasm. She was just so precious. I do actually have a little of a soft spot for photos of “not having it” kids. Probably because I capture so many of mine that way. It’s just real life, and I adore it.
Did I mention the light was gorgeous?! It was just so pretty and I loved the colors. Despite a lack of color on most of the trees, the sun just lit everything up beautifully. The tall grass areas at Ernie Miller gave great backdrops and catch lights for the setting sun.
In the end we did a lot of playing. I love capturing families just playing and interacting. They are always some of my favorites as well.
