I did a few Christmas minis this year, kind of last minute. It was fun, and I’m already thinking about ideas for next year. So keep an eye out for some fun opportunities!
The day was chilly, and the kids were not thrilled about the cold. Enter Dad for the win with hot cider in a thermos! Smart man!
I mean it’s December, you kind of expect it to be chilly, but it does make most people huddle inside under blankets. This family of six did great in spite of the weather. The kids were cold, but curious. They wanted to know what I was doing with my camera, examine all the props, and see all of the images. They were amazing at making funny faces and trying to get each other to laugh. It really was a great time.
Getting multiple kids interested in taking photos at the same time is no easy task. But some fun games and a snowman to cuddle, sometimes does the trick! One of the little girls quickly latched on to baby snowman and found a new best friend. I loved the interaction and extra adorable factor.
Baby girl was in her own world having fun. There was so much “new” to see and she didn’t understand why everyone around her was being silly. It was quite adorable.
I grabbed some cute shots of the kids being kids before we let them explore and I captured Mom and Dad. They were adorable to photograph and I didn’t want to stop. But self-control is good.
We wrapped up quickly, as Christmas minis always do, and the kids excitedly ran to the car for hot cider. It was a great mini session, for sure!
