I’m loving all the resources for Bible reading plans available online, for free! It’s nice to have a direction each month to kind of guide my Bible engagement. It also feeds my love of lists and checking things off said lists!
Below I am sharing a small roundup of Bible reading plans that I found online for the beginning of the new year. I am sure there are TONS more out there to try, but I wanted to share some to help those that need it. Sometimes it’s nice to have some of the research done for you, especially in this busy and chilly (aka: unmotivating) time of year!
The one above links to an entire year’s worth of monthly ideas. All in one place! You could even save or print them all out to have around the house, or in you bible for daily reminders. Read and reflect.
This link includes handy information on keeping engaged in the Word and reading your bible as a routine. I’m sure we can all use a little help and reminding to feed our souls and our relationship with God on a consistent basis. Especially in this fast paced, go-go-go world!
Who doesn’t need a little extra Hope in life?! This one is a few years old, but I love the focus. I also love that there are sone questions in included to ponder as you read.
Our hope is only as good as the Person we put our hope in. So maybe I was putting my hope in the wrong things and in the wrong people all along.
Debbie, from the Architect and the Artist
Well said, Debbie! Well said! Sometimes we lose our Hope, and once we dive deep, we realize that it’s because we are putting our Hope in things that we shouldn’t. Like other people, or our success, etc. Root your Hope in something that will stand firm.
This one is a bit like the first one. It definitely has some overlapping verses, but there are some differences as well. But, let’s face it, I love this one partially because it’s SO pretty to look at. Who says that bible reading plans can’t be pretty and fun to look at?!?
Yet another beautiful layout and a great topic for moving into the new year. How many of us have doubts and concerns. I have always felt that mothers are very talented at doubting ourselves and our worth. We could all use this reminder. In a season of people trying to reinvent and better themselves, correct your thoughts on how Jesus loves you and the gift of Salvation.
This one is the old “A Proverb for each day of the month” trick, which I have done many times in the past, but I love the idea of pairing songs with each day. If you are musically motivated, this may be the route for you!
Want to get more into Psalms this year? Here’s a great starter reading plan to get you reading Psalms every day!
What about a Bible reading plan about fruits of the spirit? After all of the Christmas spirit that may have hyped you up or drained you completely, we could all use some direction and clarification on how to live our lives well in the coming year.
And last, but not least, a simple Bible reading plan to get you into the Word this new year. Simple and straight forward.
