Sometimes my husband and I like to get one big gift for the boys, sometimes a family member wants to go big on a gift, and sometimes I just like to dream about fun things to have. Here is a short list of some Big Ticket gift ideas for kids (some are just big, not all that pricey) that I think are awesome.
Also, if these are on your list, maybe they are the things to watch out for this coming Black Friday/Cyber Monday?
Gymnastics Kip Bar ($208)
If you’ve been reading all these wish list idea post you might notice a theme. I like indoor energy expenders! Especially in the Winter. When cold weather keeps us in more, or sickness running through the family, or general bad weather. Kids need to MOVE. I love that you can climb, swing, and hang inside. It’s so good for their bodies!
Ikea Strandmon Kids Chair ($99)
Who doesn’t dream of a cute little book nook and your kid reading away? Maybe it’s unrealistic, but I love the idea of cute little nooks.
Playhouse ($199)
Playhouse! My kids love playhouses and pretending. This one looks awesome and simple. You could put it inside or outside depending on your space and needs.
Nugget Couch ($229)
I love the idea of this thing. Mom, after mom, after mom, has sworn by this thing. It’s definitely on the wish lists this year. My kids LOVE forts. Maybe my couch will get a break…or will just be added to the mix.
Outdoor Digger ($69.99)
I love these things and so do my kids. This would be the perfect addition to any sandbox.
Swedish Ladder ($355)
I’m a natural movement fanatic, so I love the idea of indoor activities that keep our bodies moving gin ways we often forget. I would love to have the space to dedicate to a Swedish ladder.
Ride on WheelBarrow ($39)
My kids love to help around the house and haul things from one side to the other.
Wobble Board ($89)
This thing says it holds up to 485 lbs. That means even adults can use it. You can rock back and forth while sitting, laying down, or standing. You can flip it over and use it as a bridge or low seat, and you can use it on its side in forts, as a wall, and more.
Inflatable Bounce House ($44.99)
A friend mentioned this and I’m super tempted. I don’t think I have the space, but if I did I would definitely get it. My boys discovered bounce houses at a local community center this year and LOVE them. Winter energy
